Thousands of homeless dogs in Bali
Every day they face hunger, disease and human cruelty. Balibaba helps them survive - and gives them a chance for a new life.
In the last few weeks alone, she has dealt with some extremely challenging cases.
Tamtam
In the middle of the night, a report came in about a female dog that someone in the village wanted to kill. Supposedly, she was going to bite someone. The truth was different. She was just defending her puppy. Someone shot her twice.
Tamtam was taken to a clinic, where she spent an entire month. She underwent treatment for parasites, infections, vaccinations, and surgery, during which doctors removed two bullets from her body. Fortunately, they did not hit any vital organs.
In the end, something extraordinary happened – the woman who saved her decided to keep her. Today, Tamtam lives safely together with her puppy.
Female with heart disease

On the same day Balibaba accepted another female. Her belly was extremely enlarged - her girth was 72 cm.
Diagnosis: ascites caused by heart disease. She had up to 700 ml of fluid repeatedly drained from her abdomen. She was treated for blood parasites, anemia and hepatitis.
She will be on medication twice a day for the rest of her life. The original owner - a farmer - could not take care of her. However, a new home has been found for her, where she is receiving the care she needs.
Putih 🤍

Found in the street, body full of tumors. Severe anemia, infection, malnutrition.
Despite the care and treatment she received, her body no longer had the strength to fight. She died suddenly during the night.
Ruby 🤍
Severely malnourished, with blood parasites and anemia. She struggled for three days. Then sepsis set in and her body gave up.
🐶 Puppies

Almost every week someone dumps puppies on the beach. Balibaba treats them, vaccinates them and gives them a chance to be adopted. At least here the stories often end well.
Why neutering is crucial
Without neutering, this cycle will never stop. One female dog can give birth to dozens of other dogs who end up on the streets - sick, hungry and unhelpful.
What the money will go for
The aim of the collection is CZK 80,000 that will help:
- to cover the cost of treating these and other acute cases;
- provide veterinary care, medication and hospitalization;
- arrange castration day in april that will help dozens of dogs.
Help us give dogs in Bali a second chance. 🧡
